The TOEFL is administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS), a non-profit education group. ETS does not set official passing scores for the TOEFL, allowing individual institutions to establish TOEFL benchmarks that meet their needs. Passing TOEFL scores can therefore range from a low of 60 to a high of 110, depending mostly on the degree of selectivity associated with a given degree program. The most elite universities reject a much larger number of applicants than they accept, and these institutions can afford to insist on a high level of English-language fluency. Princeton University, for which a 108 is the minimum total TOEFL score in most cases, is an example of the strictest TOEFL standards. Universities with very high acceptance rates, on the other hand, must compete for students, and these types of schools are usually willing to admit candidates with much more modest English skills. A number of institutions in the United States, often smaller state universities, will accept TOEFL composite scores of 60 or even lower.

Manhattan Review's TOEFL prep courses and TOEFL private tutoring in Stockholm and other important cities have a long and distinguished track record of helping our clients secure admission to highly selective degree programs. Our TOEFL students have been accepted to Oxford, Princeton, Harvard, Cambridge, the University of Edinburgh, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Toronto, King's College London, McGill, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Johns Hopkins, Australian National University, the University of Melbourne, the University of Calgary, and several other top institutions. Upon finishing their studies, our former TOEFL clients are regularly hired by Fortune 500 companies, including Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance, World Fuel Services, United Technologies, Walgreens Boots Alliance, and JP Morgan Chase. Some of our past students are currently employed by firms in Stockholm, such as Nexit Ventures, PostNord Logistics, Iptor Supply Chain Systems, EQT Ventures, and Ericsson. TOEFL Prep Course Stockholm - Photo of Student Virginia

I highly recommend Manhattan Review's TOEFL preparation course for anybody interested in taking the exam. I took an intensive course and took the exam only after 4 weeks of classes, and got a 116 score. The teaching method is excellent. It focuses on techniques and strategies that allow students to understand exactly what is required to succeed on examination day. Tutors are very flexible and willing to adapt to the student's schedule, as well as reachable and always ready to help and follow up on whatever the student might need.
